Youth Indoor Soccer Leagues
Our youth indoor recreational soccer leagues are well-organized and fun for kids ages 4 to 17. If you have never experienced indoor soccer before, get ready for a fast paced game on a smaller field than outdoors with more chances to touch the ball and score! Our youth soccer program is designed for all types of players, from beginners who have never played soccer before and want to learn the game, to more experienced players who have played in a youth soccer league before.
Teams: All youth league teams are recreational and are formed by our staff. Teams will be formed after registration closes. We do not accept team or coach requests and do not allow full or partial teams to be brought to play together. All players will be placed on teams to even out teams as fairly as possible.
Friend / Buddy Requests: We guarantee one (1) friend/buddy request. You may request one (1) friend/buddy for your player to play with on the same team. Your friend request must be reciprocated by your friend. This means that the player that you request must also request your player. We can only guarantee friend requests if they are reciprocated. Please verify that the player you have friend requested has also requested your player. If they request anyone else then your friend request will not be honored. If you do not follow the friend request policy then you will not be guaranteed to be placed on the same team. If you register online, do not list more than one friend. If more than one friend is requested, your request will not be honored.
Coaching: All coaches are volunteers. If you would like to coach please reach out to us as soon as possible. Not all teams will start with an assigned coach. Should your player be placed on a team without a coach, they will still play. A staff member will fill in until a coach signs up. All head coaches will receive a 50% discount refunded to them at the end of the season. If there are more volunteer coaches than teams, then we will randomly choose coaches and assign them to their respective team.
Games and Game Days: Games are held between 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will be played on either Saturday or Sunday. When necessary, games may be scheduled on weekday evenings. All players must check in at the front desk prior to their games and will get a wristband. Players will not be allowed to play if they do not check in. No unbagged balls will be permitted in the facility. This goes for players and coaches alike. Spectators are only allowed on bleachers or in designated viewing areas. Children must be supervised at all times.
Uniforms: All players will receive two (2) shirts. Dark shirts will be worn on games that are assigned as the home team. Light shirts will be worn on days your team is assigned as away. Indoor turf or tennis shoes only. NO CLEATS or CROCS. Shin guards are required at all times and must be covered by socks. Pants are only permitted to be worn by the goalie. Field players must wear shorts. Any color bottoms or socks may be worn. All jewelry must be removed prior to the start of the game. Bows without metal clips may be worn.
Practice: Practice is not included with registration fees. Due to limited field space it is impossible to provide practice time for every single team. A team may choose to have practice at our facility or somewhere else at the coach’s discretion. We (Vacaville Indoor Sports) are not involved in this process. Any decisions made are the responsibility of the coach. We offer field rentals on a first come first serve basis based on availability. Should coaches choose to rent space in our facility for practice, additional fees may apply.
Refunds: Refund requests made prior to the close of registration will be accepted and issued in full. We will not issue refunds once registration closes. Refunds will not be given to late registration participants.

2024/25 Season 1 start date: December 7th and 8th
Registration is open from September 1st to October 20th. You may register online or in person at the facility. All players will be age verified prior to a player being added to a team. A birth certificate, passport, or other photo ID with a birthdate may be used for age verification.
Late registration must be completed in person and will be accepted on a case by case basis. A late fee of $20 will be added to all late registrants.
Cost
- U-6: $100 per player
- U-8 to U-18: $150 per player
Annual Registration: $25 per player
Game Format
- U-6: 4v4 with no goalkeeper. Two halves of 20 minutes with a 1 minute halftime. Games are played on the Big Field using approximately 1/3 of the field.
- U-8 and U-10: 7v7 including goalkeeper. Two halves of 23 minutes with a 1 minute halftime. Games are played on the Small Field.
- U-12, U-15, and U-18: 7v7 including goalkeeper. Two halves of 23 minutes with a 1 minute halftime. Games are played on the Big Field.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
What equipment does my player need?
All players are required to wear shinguards with socks that cover their shinguards. Shorts must also be worn for all field players. Leggings or pants are not allowed for field players. Goalkeepers may wear goalkeeper pants.
Are cleats allowed to be worn?
No. Only indoor soccer shoes or athletic shoes are allowed.
Does my player get a uniform?
Players will receive a Vacaville Indoor t-shirt once they are assigned to a team. Shorts, socks, and shoes are not provided and are the responsibility of the player to obtain.
What days are games played?
Games are played on Saturdays and/or Sundays. If we have a large amount of teams, then we may play some weeknights if necessary.
When does the season start/end?
The current session of games will begin on the weekend of December 7th and end on the weekend of February 15th.
How many games are there in a season?
There are ten (10) games in a season.
Are coaches paid or volunteers?
All coaches are volunteers. As a thank you for coaching, the head coach for each team will be reimbursed five games (50%) for the player of their choosing. Only the head coach will be reimbursed and only once the season is completed.
How do I volunteer to coach?
Online Registration: Check the box for volunteer coach.

When is practice?
Practice is not provided by Vacaville Indoor. Whether your team has practices or not is determined by your coach. Practice may be held at Vacaville Indoor on a space available basis with applicable field rental fee. If you would like to combine with another team, you can split the rental fee to minimize cost.
What forms of identification can be used for age verification?
Birth certificate, passport, military ID, or any other photo identification that has the child’s birthdate.
Are guest or substitute players allowed?
No.
Are there playoffs for the recreational divisions?
No. Recreational divisions do not have a playoff to determine champions as these are recreational divisions not competitive divisions.
Are friend requests allowed?
Yes. You may request ONE (1) friend to be teamed with. The friend request must be reciprocated by the friend. This means that the same friend MUST request your player as their friend request. Player 1 must request player 2 and player 2 must request player 1. We will not honor chain friend requests where player 1 requests player 2 and player 2 requests player 3 and player 3 requests player 1. If you register online, do not list more than one friend. If more than one friend is requested, your request will not be honored.
Can I request a coach?
No. To balance our teams as fairly as possible we do not permit coach requests.
What if there are more volunteer coaches than there are teams?
If there are more volunteer coaches than teams, then we will randomly choose coaches and assign them to their respective team.
Can I bring my whole team to play together?
No, not for recreational divisions. In order to create a truly recreational experience for our youth players, Vacaville Indoor will form all teams to balance them as fairly as possible. If you would like to bring a complete team, then you may contact us about entering a team in a Premier Division.
What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are given if requested prior to the close of registration. Once registration has closed refunds will not be given. No refunds on late registration.
